Estuary Sunset · 02 April 2026

The hour the
tide turned gold.

A 23-minute window in early April when the spring tide met the last of the sun. The estuary went the colour of polished brass and held it just long enough to make a frame.

Shot at Lossiemouth, looking back across the estuary. The wind had dropped, the gulls had quietened. I almost forgot to press the shutter.

When a screen has a bigger story

Some downloads open into full showcase live entries.

A screensaver can stay as a free image, or point to the morning it came from: the film, the print, the music, the room view and the physical work that followed.

Every shot,

The whole archive lives on a forty-mile stretch of north-east Scottish coast, between Findhorn and Cullen. Pinned where I was standing, more or less, when the light went right.
